We had a tremendous weekend at BCC and with the continuous ‘twitter-ing’ [www.twitter.com] I feel like I’m still in the City Gathering due to the volume of enthusiasm that is constantly communicated! In our modern era of communication we have to make the most of that which is in our hands! With the launch of www.ei.168.com this Wednesday (1st April) can I encourage you to engage in this revolution of prayer and join in the process of breeding a new generation of prayer warriors? With all the projects and ministries that we put out there, this is a MAJOR one. If you belong to this house, then www.ei168.com is for you. Please register, choose your allocation on the schedule and get typing your prayers, intercessions, scriptures and musings! This is a must! We have got to cover the house and city in continuous prayer! This coming month [April] we change focus and delve into the hearts and minds of the Minor Prophets! Our title for the month is Major on the Minors! We will have a top month and see the prophetic released. ‘The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in YOU!’

I hope and pray that you are allowing these words to impregnate your heart and spirit as you release the champion within.

 

I am like a child on Christmas Eve at present as we await our next City Gathering. With the visit of Dave Gilpin (Hope City Church) we will have with us one of the leading pastors in the nation at present. I am unable to impress upon you the importance of being here this coming Sunday. This really is going to be special!

 

I also want you to take the opportunity to invite friends along. Many people ask about inviting friends along and this City Gathering is the one! Maybe you know someone who is a little frustrated, requires an injection of hope, needs Jesus or is even looking for a new church. This is the City Gathering to bring them along!

 

Please log onto www.ei168.com and register! We continue to build the site and soon there will be a schedule page where you will be able to choose the hour (or even hours!) that you will be interceding on behalf of the house and city! All we need is 168 people to commit to 1 hour per week or 84 commit to 2 hours per week or even 56 people to commit to 3 hours per week! We can do this! When this is up and running, invite everyone in your address book to be apart of this viral campaign to put prayer back in the hands of the Church and train a generation how important it is!

40 days

What an incredible privilege it is to be praising and serving such an awesome God with you! Be encouraged as you seek God and dig deep into His Word and will that things will never be the same!

Remember, the Main Campus is open Sunday – Friday, 6-8am and every Thursday evening, 6-7.30pm for people to gather together and seek God on behalf of the house and the city. Come along and be encouraged as you stand with your fellow mighty warriors!!

Breakthrough

Sunday was a great day here at Bethel City Church with the start of our first Corporate 40 Day Fast. We are believing for significant breakthrough which will have lasting effects in this house and this city!

This e.newsletter simply calls us all to prayer during thse 40 days. Join with us every morning and evening, 6am-8am and 6pm-7.30pm at the Main Campus as we seek God’s face during this time of fasting.

Matthew 4:2 tells us that Jesus ‘fasted 40 days and 40 nights and became very hungry.’ It is our prayer that during these 40 days we become very hungry for the things of God, for the lost and for breakthrough. Please be in touch with your City Pastor with reports of praise and breakthrough!

Bounce & Serve

Wasn’t Wayne fantastic yesterday at our City Gathering?

BCC is hotting up again and October through ’til Christmas is looking to be a real exciting time.

Acts 24:14 says: ‘

I serve and worship…’ (TM).

Many of us have really engaged in this new and exciting dynamic of praise that we call the bounce here at BCC. However, the bounce goes hand in hand with serve.This week I want to highlight one word to you that I believe every person who is a part of BCC should be involved with. The word is:

Volunteer!

Many ministries are in desperate need of more hands on deck. As we grow and the opportunities increase, there is more room for you to get involved.

I want to highlight 3 areas to you to consider volunteering you time and talents toward:

1. Embrace: the ministry that ensures all receive a fantastic welcome into the House of God. Work alongside Janet and Mike Syson at our City Gatherings and ABC in giving people a huge hug and a big smile.

2. When…: the ministry that has a heart to give to the city of Stoke on Trent. Work alongside Kirsty and Kacey in this pioneering ministry that is revolutionising the concept of Church.

3. City Cafe Ltd: Our new company that serves the best coffee in the city is looking for more volunteers as it expands its business across the city. Talk to Elizabeth Lewis regarding how to get involved.

There are many more areas to get involved in but, honestly, you need to plug into one of these three areas. Make it your priority this week to contact Janet, Kirsty or Elizabeth and VOLUNTEER your time and talent.
